These guys must be working really hard, because I easily got the impression from the Phoenix chat that they weren't that close to finishing yet. Although if Mike's mid-2012 estimate is the band's goal, it means they may be farther along than we thought. I don't expect the single till closer to April though, because they haven't done any promotion on the album apart from sporadic interviews yet.
The LPA is self funded and does not host advertising on our front page. So! middle of this year is fucking June! ok but, I can't stop remembering that Chester said they wanted to release an album every 18 months, c'mon Chazy don't lie to yourself! XD
Just a thought on The Raid - I'm aware that it's been picked up by a number of international distributors, for example, the distribution rights for a UK release were bought by Momentum. However, given that it was specifically Sony Pictures in the US who tasked Mike to write a new score, I'm wondering if Mike's score might be exclusive to the US release, which would be a shame
I should add, I'm sure the previous score was cool as well, but obviously as a Linkin Park/Mike Shinoda fan, his soundtrack is the primary selling point for me!
