Is there anything in particular you would like to see Linkin Park do on their tour for their 5th album? Classics replaced with new or older rarely played material? Anything particular about the show in general such as guest appearances from supporting bands, how the stage is set up, or the length of the setlist? Get creative with this! ha ha
I don't want it to be a show or just simply a concert, I want it to be an experience. It would be awesome if the visuals told a story, using the music.
I loved the visuals they used from ATS, some lightshow/screen show like that would be awesome. And oh, ROBOT BOY
well if we're talking songs to bring back (even though that has its own thread) somewhere I belong, do it
Longer Setlists like; maybe 30 or 40. Since they have a lot of material it would be appropriate to expand their setlist, especially with a new album coming out; would be easier to please the audience with larger set lists. Also, I would like them to bring back A Place For My Head and With You. Visuals aren't very important to me, I just want to see a show that will rock my f*kn socks off. (and make me deaf) It would be awesome if they toured with Pendulum again, but I hope they would bring many more other acts along with them; not only more acts but diverse genres; that would be cool. I also think it would be awesome for them to pull people up on stage every so often just to hype the crowd like they used to do. Also I hope they bring back the cool intros, scratching sessions and outros. Maybe even add new intros and outros to old songs, that would be awesome. Just want a very energetic show maybe even like stage lights/effects (like pyrotechnics)
I just want them to play Robot Boy, play a few older song, and kick up the visuals into something insane! Also, I want to FINALLY catch Linkin Park live, for the first time, in Atlanta, GA the next major tour.
No way. Not only would that wear the fuck out of the band, I'd be happy to see shorter, but more insanely kickass setlists.
I agree. If LP played setlists 30 to 40 songs long the tours would be half as long and they would need more time to recover after tours.
They need to do a better job of giving you the feeling that they love being there. I always get the sense that they just go through the setlists as quickly as possible and leave it at that. If they don't make their sets longer, they should at least talk to the crowd more or something.
double post, Blasphemy I know, BUT! I think another LPU tour/concert would be awesome. we have the perfect place here in Colorado called the Red Rocks Amphitheater. Its kind of famous. Its rather small and very scenic and I think it would the coolest thing if they played there
Better opening acts. Linkin Park have had average opening acts at every Australian show I've been to.
