QWERTY and ASP aren't from the M2M era either. Those are pre-mtm

MTM songs would be considered pre-MTM too then. They're from the same time period.

So I'm confizzled. Those two songs sound more like they belong on a HT pt. 3 than MtM. So unless they purposely did that for the fans, then they totally made those before they consciously decided to change their sound. Blah iono, it just seems weird to count those since it seems like they weren't made to be album choices and don't really fit with any other MtM track *shrugs*

Um...those songs are from 2006. LP was making and recording MTM at the time they came out. Actually, they recorded the studio version of Qwerty after they came back from Summer Sonic in 2006 in August for the fanclub. So it was recorded pretty far into the writing process. Chester said that at one point, MTM was going to be the heaviest LP material to date. He said most songs were metal songs, but they decided to scrap those and go with the more mellow songs in favor. I bet a lot of demos for MTM sounded like songs that could have belonged on HT.

Anyways, I love every single track on MTM to death, but here would be my ultimate tracklisting.

    01. Wake
    02. Given Up
    03. Leave Out All The Rest
    04. What We Don't Know
    05. Valentine's Day
    06. Across The Line
    07. In Pieces
    08. Bleed It Out
    09. No More Sorrow
    10. What I've Done
    11. Pale
    12. The Little Things Give You Away

Also, some of the demos and seeds I would like to see from MTM are: Sterile Poon, Electric Uvula, Chunky Monkey, Candy, Alaska, The Wrath, State Of Emergency, and definitely would love to hear early versions of 21 Stitches and Accident.

ah ok...Yeah I remember Chester saying that it would be heavy and he was doing a lot of screaming. There was also an interview with Mike saying that it'd be an unconventional hip-hop album. We got neither. I do think that from a marketing standpoint it makes sense that those two tracks were made in order to satisfy fans before the "old LP" became dead and gone with MtM. I can't imagine them regressing to those right in the middle of making an experimental album

    Mine would have to be..

    Wake
    Given Up
    Leave Out All The Rest
    Bleed It Out
    Shadow Of The Day
    What I've Done
    Hands Held High
    No More Sorrow
    Valentine's Day
    In Between
    In Pieces
The Little Things Give You Away

Other than the other songs, I would have had Blackbirds only stay exclusive to 8-bit Rebellion, instead of just putting it up on iTunes after the fact.

The only thing that bothered me about putting Blackbirds on the iTunes version of ATS is that people were saying it was an ATS b-side, when in fact, it was a MTM b-side. You can clearly hear the last seconds of the song on the making of MTM DVD, with the same lyrics and beat and everything. Not to mention the lyrics and the style of the song are very MTM sounding.

The only thing I would probably have changed would be to have No More Sorrow and What I've Done cut, and have them put in Across The Line, and work more on No Roads Left to make it album ready.
