LPU Summit in Tokyo, Japan

The Linkin Park Underground has just created a page showcasing an LPU Summit which is set to take place in Tokyo, Japan from September 9th-September 11th. The summit will go along with Linkin Park's two shows in Chiba, Japan on September 10th and September 11th. How LPUers experience the summit may change depending on which shows they are going to. Read more below:

Day One - September 9 @ Nico Farre

-Join fellow LPU members to experience the A Thousand Horizons interactive digital art event. This unique event is the kick off for the LPU Tokyo Summit and the Linkin Park Japan shows.
-Q&A session with members of Linkin Park.
-LPU Summit check-in
-Receive your LPU Summit laminate
-Meet and hang out with LPU members from the around the world
-We strongly encourage ALL members attending the Summit to attend this event

Day Two - September 11 - Main Event @ Makuhari Messe

-Choice of one of the following activities: Walk across Linkin Park's stage, backstage tour, tech class with LP crew members.
-LPU Auction for exclusive, rare and signed Linkin Park merchandise. Auction items will include Mike Shinoda's A Thousand Suns Award Plaque from Switzerland signed by the band, signed limited edition Linkin Park DC Shoes, signed posters, and more. Click HERE for the list of items.
-LPU Raffle Prizes: Photographer for a day, side stage viewing, one-on-one photo with the band, and roadie for the night. Everyone will get 1 free raffle ticket and can purchase additional tickets for 100 yen each.
-Linkin Park Karaoke

Meet & Greet With Linkin Park
You will meet Linkin Park on different days, depending on which Tokyo concert you are going to. Please read below VERY carefully.


-If you have tickets for ONLY the concert on September 10: You will meet the band before the show on that date. You WILL be allowed to attend the Summit activities (except for the Meet & Greet) on September 11.
-If you have tickets for ONLY the concert on September 11: You will meet the band before the show on that date.
-If you have tickets for BOTH concerts on September 10 and September 11: You will meet the band before the show on September 11.
-If you DON'T have tickets for either concert: You will meet the band before their show on September 11. No concert ticket needed, and you will NOT be admitted into the concert after the Meet & Greet. We encourage members to attend the show and you can purchase tickets for the 11th HERE.

Note that day one involves the A Thousand Horizons event that we recently reported yesterday. The LPU is calling it an "interactive digital art event."

So looks like everyone ended up being correct in their speculation anyways . We ended up getting a remix, a summit, something to benefit Japan and a film. Isn't that amazing?

I made the post and I still could hardy read any of the activities because I would get too jealous and be sad that I can't go, haha. Though from what I did read, it sounds awesome! I'm anxious for pics/vids of the ATH event. And I wonder what the remix will be!

Though I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them announcing that non LPU members can attend ATH. It just seems like something that should be seen by more than 50-100 people.
