I'm ashamed to admit that my first concert was Kenny Chesney, but that was 8 years ago, and my mom had gotten the tickets for free from her work. But I did see Skillet with Red as the supporting act last year which was epic.

Perhaps a bit embarrassing, but the very first was Wallflowers/Counting Crows - I was kinda dragged to that one, some friends were going and I decided to tag along. This was sometime in the mid 90s I guess?

First one I went to that was really by choice and that I wanted to go to was Foo Fighters/Red Hot Chili Peppers. This was after Californication was released, so that should date it to somewhere around 1999 or 2000. It still remains one of the best shows I've been to.

Disturbed and Korn, touring for Believe and Untouchables respectfully. Opener was Trust Company. Went for Disturbed, ended up falling in love with Korn. I had never really listened to them around that time. I think that was in '02.

My uncle's now defunct band Soulshine at The Roxy back in 2002 or 2003? something like that. They were okay, not really my thing, just went to support my uncle.

The first concert I paid for myself and went to was in 2004 for Lola Ray and Bayside at Graceland (now El Corazon) in Seattle.
