Chester Bennington is someone I really look up to now. He's one of the few rock musicians who's gone clean from a drug-abused and a really difficult life.

 

Everybody they came into contact with then smoked and drank, so I don't really blame them for doing it too. The music they produce just washes it all away now.

 

A-maz-ing article. Save for a few douchebag-like comments.

 

Yeah I really didn't see the pot thing coming, at least from Phoenix and Mike. Brad maybe, lolz, but as was pointed out it wasn't Chester saying that.

 

Wow, a lot of that really surprised me! I love the raw honesty!

When I want interesting conversations on things I've read, I come here for LP and a few other things, or I give the article to friends to read and talk with them. I've decided that except for LPA, I'm no longer reading comments on websites.

 

very interesting interview! was a great read, and the last sentence made me smile

 

shoulda kept smoking pot, yo. although, if they were all so fucked up, and the album we got was Hybrid Theory... ehhh, maybe being sober is a good thing. since ATS isn't THAT bad.

I wonder if some of them still do smoke pot and drink, but just won't come out and say it since all their little fans look up to them and shit, and drugs are a no-no!!!

 

I'm pretty sure Chester is completely sober (maybe he drinks occasionally, but I even doubt that). I also doubt any of the other band members do weed or shrooms etc.

I'm pretty sure there is a big difference in marijuana and heroin, or whatever Chester was on. Unless his big drug problem was weed. In that case, lulz.

Give me an opportunity to say that to Chester without having to pay for a concert ticket and I will, sir. What do I care what some millionaire rockstar says in response to my opinion?

 

He should tell him he thinks going to college in order to get ahead is a cop out.
