On July 4th, 2011 Linkin Park played their final show of their European Summer Tour at the iTunes Festival at The Roundhouse in London, England. As they opened the encore of their set that night they performed a piano version of the Adele track, Rolling In The Deep. iTunes have now released the track as a single which you can download below.

*The track is only available in the UK as of right now. We'll keep you updated if it becomes available in the US.

All the more reason to make a studio version.

Needs to happen. I felt when they did Wish that they should have recorded that in the studio and never did.

I don't think a Wish cover should've been recorded. After RaR, the performances of the song were very 'meh'. Chester was trying too hard to sound like some weird mix of Trent and Marilyn Manson (so in essence, just Trent), and the whole thing just seemed very trivial.

My friend said Chester's voice didn't fit to the piano's soulful tone and I told him 'This is what he was doing right before covering' and shared him the One Step Closer performance, and he said 'Oh...'

I think is sweet, I just hope they won't start doing covers on albums.

I'm surprised they haven't already. Actually, I'm sure they've recorded a few covers as it is, but never released them. Rick Rubin has a habit of having artists he produces attempt to cover a song that is nowhere near what they 'are'.
