I actually didn't mean it in that sense, because frankly, the only exposure I had to anything pre-release for Halo 4 was just the E3 teaser. After that, the next I did anything related was play the game at my house. My point was in the first few missions, when we're first introduced to the Promethean weapons, I just watched that transformation sequence when you first equip it and I was like, "Aw wicked!" But then after running into the same ten weapons over and over again, by halfway through the campaign I was just like, "Oh, hey, you again." I just need a little more variety. More on this Friday after next, gonna review it on my blog. From what I wrote it's gonna look like I crapped all over it but the truth is I fucking loved Halo 4. Everything>Black Ops 2 Yes the Halo 4 music is so good, the epicness is on the scale when you first play CE. Can't wait for the next game, but i'm all Halo 4'd out. Got to level 86 in like a month or so, i'm gonna wait for the next playlists. Currently i'm playing Dishonored which is the best SP game i've played in like, ever.
Playing the Campaign and I can honestly say that I have like zero emotional attachment to any of the characters I've come across and I don't really understand what's happening story-wise. I guess that's what happens when the last time I played a Halo game was in early 2008, and it was only Halo 1. But I am having fun running around jumping and shooting shit. So that's nice.
You're missing out on the whole point of the campaign. Stop playing, go back and play the previous games and then come back, otherwise come the end of the this game, it'll be all wasted time.

I'm actually glad that Bungie didn't do this game. 343 has done an amazing job with the franchise and that makes me excited for the future. By the way, invisible SPOILER: Call me hopeful, but, I do not believe Cortana is (fully) dead.
Of course she's not (fully). The next game will obviously be about whoever it is (might not be hasley) building a new one, it doing something wrong or hating MC or whatever then 6 or 5, i'm not sure will be about getting the real her back. I tried to word this without spoilers, but yeah. They won't kill her off that easily.
Yo Halo 4 I'm really happy for you, Imma let you finish, but Starfox 64 had one of the best flight simulator finales of all time. OF. ALL. TIME. Seriously. Area 6 makes the finale laughable.
