She's a grower. Once you get past the shock of the change in sound, it's a very solid album. As I said, Chris' two songs are my faves, which is weird because I didn't have high hopes.

    Few notes:

Supremacy is an awesome mix of Map of the Problematique and Citizen Erased.
Panic Station is dance-y as fuck. I love it.
Follow Me reminds me of faster-paced Resistance.
Animals starts off like an In Rainbows-era Radiohead in my opinion.
Liquid State is my favourite, especially after finding out this and Save Me are about Chris' battles with alcoholism (did not know).
Even Unsustainable has grown on me. It's better within the context of the rest of the album.
    Isolated System: Brilliant closer.

I don't perceive the change in sound as shocking. I liked it from the first listen (just as A Thousand Suns). But yeah, it's gettin' even better.

Edit: Man... Animals is so awesome...

I listened to all songs several times and I think that album is just amazing! My favorites are Supremacy, Unsustainable and Follow Me. The only song I don't like so much is Save Me. Also, I don't listen soooo much to Survival (+Prelude) because it was released before so I have overplayed it  Madness is great too, but IMO the beginning is not as good as the last minute. Though, all in all The 2nd Law is awesome.

I'd say my favorites are Supremacy, Prelude/Survival, Unsustainable, Panic Station and Save Me. There are a few others that I also liked, and the remaining songs I've already completely forgotten about.

Having listened to it a couple of times now, I find myself liking it more than I thought I would. So much of the album reminds me of other artists, whether it be U2 or Queen or whatever. And yet, I can't help really like the music. Most of the songs have something memorable about them.

They're advertising the fuck out of The 2nd Law on Spotify. It's definitely an enjoyable album, though it hasn't grown on me quite as much as The Resistance has, at least not yet.

Otherwise, I love the album. Follow Me and Save Me are my favourites for now. Supremacy is epic as fuck. <3

Supremacy reminds me of a James Bond intro song.

Nish said that in the shoutbox as well. And I would agree. Would have been awesome if they chose that song, but the Adelle song isn't bad

I read an article where I think Dominic stated that Supremacy would have made a good Bond song, but he acknowledged that Adele was already making one. But yeah, the Adele one is good anyway.

    Edit: Here's the article http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepag...-songs-Adeles-Skyfall-vs-Muses-Supremacy.html

Supermacy is my favorite track on the album, but none of them are compared to Time Is Running Out from Absolution

Anyone else think Chris sounds like a mix between Brad and Mike in Save Me? :p

I've been blasting this in my car for the past week. Really solid album! I also bought tickets for their North American Tour today so I'm really eager to see these guys live for the first time.
