Like Ben said, I have almost as many posts on there as I do here, and I've been on there for about a month. Over 1,200 legitimate posts, without trolling, using asterisks for "naughty" words like everyone else does got me an infraction, and now for saying "stupid post". The LPA has never punished on terms of censorship and language, as long as we're not showing hate towards someone, right? If I've learned anything the past few days, it's that Derek and all you other LPA mods actually give a rat's ass about us and how we feel about your forums. Porn and trolling wouldn't satisfy me.

And who the fuck on here keeps finding my posts and snitching me out like a little fucking bitch?! One of the mods on their forums PMed me asking if I have a problem with them, with a link to my post here about the second infraction. Jesus Christ.

I am this > < close to getting refunds on all my pre-orders for the game by that company. I've never in my life been so angry, disappointed, and upset all at once, and to think, some mods behind computer screens have brought me to this state. I was excited since February for Gears of War 3, because I loved 1 and 2. Well, fuck that shit. I just went from this > < close, to doing it. 3 down, 4 to go.

YEAH. I don't know if you read my first, first post about how a lot of the users on there are real douchebags, but someone linked THAT post in a thread I created about pre-order exclusives and why they should remain exclusive. It's my fucking opinion you fucker?! And then a MOD sent me a message after my rant(s) here yesterday, asking "Hey, have a problem with us?" and linked my post here. What the fuck? Who is this little bitch?

I think I just handed in my resignation, though I replied to the mod's PM with a calm, factual, pretty long reply, and got the quoted reply back. It's not a snippet - that's all she said back

"Even though I haven't played them, I'm aware Epic has more than one game. I'm also aware that I posted in the Gears of War 3 forum. If I've learned anything from this reply, it is that your Community Coordinator title does not fit you, as you replied to a factual, unbiased, nearly page long reply with two sentences.

I don't like having accounts in places, whether they're online or in real life, that I will not use, so if you don't mind, can you please close my account? I'm done with these forums."

 

It does seem silly to ban swear words just because Epic makes more than Gears of War. I mean, isn't that the advantage of having separate sections to post in for each game?

 

Exactly! And it's not even that it was so easy to see I was even using "inappropriate", aka using asterisks, language considering everyone and their moms does it on those forums. Those mods don't actually care until a little bitch who can't take someone's opinion online reports them for it. Mods should be unbiased, like Derek, for example, who views everyone equally and only issues warnings/punishments when you're really acting up; they should not be like the ones on those forums that have favorites because that online circle of friends is all they've got.

I just checked out the last thread I posted in to see if anyone quoted my long post, and it turns out the OP did. If only everyone on those forums were like this:

Yeah, I completely agree.

We're in a world where fuck is an everyday word in 6th grade. I predict that as time goes by, "swear words" will be less frowned upon. And really, they shouldn't be. It's the homophobic stuff that should always be banned and thankfully forums like this recognize that.

I'm not gonna spam their piece of shit forums, or troll, it'll just make me look like I was fired rather than I quit, and I want to make sure I stay on the latter side. I didn't have to sign up for their forums, I could have read all the info I wanted without signing up, but I felt the need to give my two cents in that community because of what little I do know and utilize as commentary. It's not worth it though. No one likes a dictator and that's all those mods are, so it's time to be a LPA post whore
