i don't think your ex friend is lying. the entirety of the story can be found online right now. in addition there are quite a number of people that have seen an advanced showing already.

Yeah, the movie is following the original comic pretty closely. The ending is pretty apparent, your ex-friend probably does know what it is.

Beat me to it. Huge soundtrack buff and a big Hans Zimmer fan. I enjoy the soundtrack a lot even if he is using a lot of the same themes and motifs from the previous two films. The subtle differences in instrumentation are enough for me.
