I know they won't come to my town, so it's no big deal for me.

    I'm indifferent here.

If they play a show near me it's awesome. I don't care what tour it is.

I think they'll be a Project tour after the release of another album.

PR doesn't come to New Zealand so I don't care either way.

But this means that there will be a new album sooner due to them most probably being back in the studio sooner.

    :awesome:

I can pretty much guarantee there will be a summer U.S. tour next year one way or another. So it might be under a different name, big deal.

Guys, I really don't think having a standard tour instead of a Projekt Revolution tour is going to make them get in the studio any sooner.

I don't mind but I just hope they have their own festival shows in Europe next summer. PR 2008 in Milton Keynes, UK was hands down my favourite musical experience to date. An amazing performance by the band (that led to the RTR DVD) and probably the best festival lineup I could ask for (Innerpartysystem, The Bravery, Enter Shikari, NERD, Pendulum, Jay-Z and LP).

Haha LP, let alone PR never come to India. I'm content with them recording a DVD of a show wherever so I can buy it and give it a watch. I guess that's the closest I can get. :)

Got me!! Haha, they never come to India. I'd be more than happy with a DVD that best showcases their "visual" experience- if they really do one. And a new album sooner? I doubt that, but if that gets it closer by even half a year, I am happy XD

Not much difference to me as PR won't come to my area, but I hope they've got something else to surprise us ;)

Doesn't bother me. Let the band tour how they want. Whether it's with a ton of bands, or just a couple, at the end of the day I want to see Linkin Park and I respect how they want to present their live show.

I agree. I've gone to my fair share of LP festival-esque shows, and wouldn't mind a change of pace. Whatever creates the best possible show, in my opinion.

I mean, it's not like I'll care. I'll be in the mosh pit whether it's an arena, festival, or nightclub.

I think it means they have different ideas for a summer tour more like.

How is having a regular-style tour going to make it any more likely the next album would come sooner? If it's the same length of a tour, what's the difference?

    Mike Shinoda:
Will we have an album in 2009? Of course!

That was before the whole Transformers/New Divide gig came along
