i'm pretty sure Linkin Park's commercial success would not have taken off so quickly and most people on this forum (myself included) would not have found Linkin Park (or so fast anyway).
I'll think it's really cool, but that won't make me a fan. PS: neither did HT actually, I was a fan after Meteora.
Anyways, I'd imagine I'd be pretty damn bored of HT and Meteora if Reanimation came out first. Actually, I'd be disappointed as hell.
I heard Reanimation in full well before I heard Hybrid Theory in full, even though my first exposure to Linkin Park were the HT-versions of In the End and Points of Authority. I'd still probably love 'em, but not as enthusiastically, as someone else said. I came to them looking for rock that was both melodic and aggressive, so that's what attracted me.
I like Reanimation but if it had come out first I don't think LP would be as popular as they are. Not like that matters or anything but just saying
and the name Reanimation would make no sense because you can't RE something that didn't happen in the first place ha
I know. I was just wondering though what other peoples thoughts would be if the Reanimation mixes were on the Hybrid Theory album instead as finals.
