So there's a band out there that I've worked with before. They are a cool couple of guys who make rap-rock songs. They even have a guy (Aric Fleury) who's voice could easily be mistaken for Mike Shinoda (if your ear isn't trained like a hardcore LP fan). Oddest thing is, with the 3 members in Step Zero, they've NEVER met eachother. They've done a few LP covers on their MySpace. And they're originals are outstanding. Take a listen @ http://www.stepzer0.com Their music is 100% FREE, just for signing up to their site. My remix of their song "Consumed" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EiKd_-LCOD0 Happy listening.
Some are old. If you listen to their newer stuff, the production is better, along with the guitar tone. And remember, Xero had a horrible guitar tone as well... So you should have to cut them slack on that.
