New PM restrictions for new members

Yesterday, we discovered that we had a bot registered on our forums for awhile that was spamming people via PM, yet, it had never made a single post on our forums. Over the course of a few months, it managed to send out over 4,700 PMs to our users until we finally noticed it and banned it. So, in order to prevent something like this from happening again, we've put a restriction in place where members with less than 10 posts can only PM staff members, after reaching 10 posts, you can PM anyone. This number is high enough to hopefully prevent any bots or trolls from spamming or harassing anyone (since their posts have to be approved by us first so we'll know if they're troublesome or not) but low enough that it really shouldn't be a burden on anyone, as it's real easy to get 10 posts.

Also, we do ask that if you get any PMs that look like they might be suspicious, you report them to us so we can investigate. Our forums now have a feature where you can report a private message to us (It's the exclamation point (!) icon at the top of the PM to the right of the PM subject line). This will send a copy of the message to us, so if it's something too personal to share, then don't use that feature, but chances are, if it's spam or some other garbage, sharing it with us isn't a big deal.
