I hate all of them. And Steal This Album! isn’t an actual album; it’s left-over demos and whatnot (at least from what I’ve read) from their first two albums. They (just like LP with Reanimation) can care less about how successful it is.
I love all the albums... they all have their own type of feel that SOAD always has . Toxicity to me was like, kinda' more mature, and then it got crazy again in "Steal This Album". Even though they're all leftover type tracks, it still rules to bang your head to .
To all of those who said Toxicity, have you even heard the self-titled one?? If you haven't, you're missing out completely. SOAD are crappy now. I have the advance of their new album (supposedly) and it's just as repetitive as Toxicity. The first album is the best, a lot darker, a lot crazier, a lot more SOAD. Chop Suey and Aerials are great, but the rest is probably just crap. Steal This Album is so crappy, my goodness.
I agree with From The Inside partially. Their debut was the best but Toxicity was still great. Steal This Album! is actually almost as good as Toxicity in my opinion. I love their quirky style. You can't get any better than Sugar, Spiders, Soil, War?, and Peephole! They kill Chop Suey any day (Chop Suey is still amazing but can't compare!)! You have the new album, FTI?? What is it called? How did you get it? I'm VERY skeptical...
System of A Down is actually a better band than LP, IMO (and I can back my point if I get flamed). Try to recognize the originality and beauty of SOAD. Liking LP, I can't understand why you would hate System. And thats a pretty arrogant remark, on your behalf. Steal This Album is b-sides from Toxicity and their debut, and it just gives their fans more GREAT music. And it has new songs, which makes it an album, and more of an album than Reanimation even! Many songs on there are better than some on Toxicity (Chic'N'Stu, Boom!, I-E-A-I-A-I-O, Streamline; and Roulette, an acoustic masterpiece! Some weak points on Toxicity where Jet Pilot, ATWA, X, and Bounce.) Have you made an effort at all to get into them?
But the thing is, that's an opinion. And so is saying Linkin Park are better than SOAD.
And you have every right to your opinion, Bryan. I was responding more to Will saying that STA! wasn't an album... I'll rephrase my response.
And you have every right to your opinion, Bryan. I was responding more to Will saying that STA! wasn't an album... I'll rephrase my response.
And so do you. But saying you have facts to back up the fact that SOAD is better than LP is impossible seeing as it would still be an opinion.
And so do you. But saying you have facts to back up the fact that SOAD is better than LP is impossible seeing as it would still be an opinion.
I don't have facts, I have OPINIONS on why SOAD is a better band, meaning providing my VIEWS on why I think they are better.
SOAD have their songs, most of them are not good. they have like 4-5 songs that i like the rest is annoying garbage
I simply despise System Of A Down. That's my opinion. If you can't live with that then you don't deserve to have your own opinion on why you think they're better than Linkin Park.
To whoever it was that was curious about me having the so-called new album, it has no title. I actually found this last summer, and I think a few songs have made it to Steal This Album. You tell me, I don't own it.
