5'11. Also planning to start some kind of toning/muscle building regimen soon (maybe not as intense as p90x but something like that).
That shit isn't good for people who aren't in good cardiovascular health. I have years of cholesterol buildup probably from eating fast food, and I haven't gone to the gym in years...I'd probably have a heartattack.
I don't know if you care for any advice, but I'd recommend a basic barbell strength training program (such a Starting Strength) to start, not something like P90x or anything else which claims it will "tone" you. "Toning" comes from having a low body fat, not from the workout routine itself. So getting stronger and building some muscle is the best thing you can do workout-wise to get "toned".
I actually do respect that and will take it into consideration. I actually am going to start lifting weights etc and bicycle riding to help myself lose more weight and get more muscle.
Sounds good. There is just this general myth that to lose weight and get "toned" you want to do a sort of high volume routine. In reality, if you are losing weight your body is low on food so recovering from exercise is harder. As a consequence, the goal is to do a few heavy sets to give a stimulus to maintain/gain muscle not a tonne of sets that will burn you out. I am going to link a couple of resources I find really helpful since there tends to be so much BS you have to wade through when it comes to this sort of thing: http://www.leangains.com Some good info here even if you don't want to do the Intermittent Fasting style diet. http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/ Generally a tonne of great info on all sorts of diet an exercise related matters. If you are curious about something in that field there is a decent shot you can find an answer on this website. I'll stop clogging up this topic though. Good job on the progress and best of luck getting the rest of your goals!

Can't remember the last time I posted in here, but as I'm wearing LPA merch, thought I'd make an exception. Ignore the shitty quality!
