Off Into The Emptiness of The Unknown

Looking at a wall while I sit patiently
The ticking of the clocks hands echo almost soundlessly
The thoughts drift back and forth on my conscience
As if in a boat sailing across the ocean

The wailing siren outside goes unnoticed
And the flames intruding the entrace are unfelt
Off in my wonderland nothing else can reach me
Not even the things that want to trap me

Around the intervals of darkness my thoughts float to the surface
And even though there is only blackness, it doesn't scare me
From the outside land I can smell the fumes burning up
But rather than ecaspe I let them carry me away

Off into the emptiness of the unknown
I let my thoughts and the dangers of the world take me
From looking at a wall to the moment of my final breath
I let my thoughts take me away

The stoping of my heart goes unoticed
And the breath that was once alive fades out
Off in my wonderland nothing else can reach me
Not even the things that want to trap me

Infininty and completeness have engulfed me
And by looking at a wall while gathering my thoughts
I let out my final breath, letting my memories carry me away

The thing I like the most about this piece is that it doesn't feel forced at all. One of your better works here imo.

Thanks dusan but this was actually forced, not really but a friend asked me if I could write them a song. On the spot because they didnt believe that I wrote most of my songs in 3-5 minutes. So this is a result of a 2 minute writing sesson. lol.
