From their Myspace blog.just a few litte bits. Firstly thanks to everyone who came to the astoria last night. I had a laugh, was a cool gig. Sorry if i didnt get to meet anybody after the show. I got hustled into a car and then reversed away. I felt like a twat. soz.
Kerrang awards later, then off to leeds. Sweeet.
Also for those who were listening. Dan Carter played a rough studio demo of the new track Weapon, on the rock show monday night. Just to clear things up, this was just us experimenting and having fun in pre production, it wont be on the album, and wont be re recorded. That was as far as the song is gonna go. Just thought it would be cool to let people hear our ideas.
Anyway. See you on the weekend!!
xxxx

OH snap, hello old school Lostprophets. 'Weapon' puts a big smile on my face.
I remember liking it a lot more when I first heard it live, for some reason.
Weapon sounds promising, here's hoping they do go for a more"old-school" sound...
Although I hope that by trying to be "darker and heavier" they don't end up sounding like a Hawthorne Heights rip-off or similar...
"...what do you exect to see, everytime you look at me?"
Judging by the other songs they're basically crossing the Paul Weller influences from the last album with their hardcore/nu-metal stuff.
