    New NIN in April

Newest update on NIN.com says that the Nine Inch Nails album will be out in April. I'm extremely excited.

This is a release announcement. That was Trent saying it was almost done and being worked on. I felt it was worthy of it's own thread. This says April. April April April.

Yeah, but there was already a thread for that, you could've just searched for it and posted it there.

I've posted in that thread. I knew it was there. Read what I said. I felt it was worthy of it's own thread because it says when it's coming out.

Play.com lists the release date in the UK as April 16th when you pre-order it from there, so it's possible that the album will be released on April 17th. Can't confirm anything though, it's Trent Reznor for fuck's sake

There's an interesting theory going around that when Trent mentioned it could be about the end of the world, he means the end of nine inch nails.

I hope not. It may be a marketing trick. One can never be sure when it comes to Trent.

    Meh.

With Teeth was only decent. Thought so from day one. After a few listens, even the most hardcore NIN fans agreed (for the most part). I expect more of the same.

With Teeth appeared to lack the aggression of Broken and Downward Spiral, and even the emotional trauma of The Fragile because Trent's completely sober. A lot of his work was, in my opinion, correlated with his alcohol and drug abuse. Once he got clean, he went a different path with his music. With Teeth wasn't bad, it just wasn't something Nine Inch Nails. If Trent released it on his own under his real name, fine. A side project, if you will. But it just didn't fit with NIN.

    Hopefully year zero does :]
