Blender Says: New Linkin Park Album In March

In their recent issue with Kelly Clarkson on the cover, Blender has featured Linkin Park as #2 on their Top 27 things to love in 2007. According to the article, the new album is expected to drop in March of 2007 and Chester has been quoted as saying in the article that the new album is "worth the wait".

Note: Some fans may remember that Meteora started mixing around this same time period in 2002 and was later released in March of 2003, adding credibility to this rumor. We will post scans as it becomes available.

Well I just did some searching on our forums. And check this out...for Meteora:

Tracklist was announced on January 15th

And we finally got a 'cd rip' of SIB around February 27th, although the first clip (that infamous LPTV instrumental) was posted early February.

So yeah, if LP follow the same path..I'd expect new shit VERY soon.

yeah if they follow the same path we'd expect new album soon but let's never forget that they changed their mind in so many things like their style and because of that maybe they are planning another date for releasing their album, sorry guys im not positive

great find. i coudln't remember exactly when we got everything for it. i remember cranking to SIB for like 3 weeks straight though haha.hopefully it will indeed follow this pattern [or similar to it of course]. when did they actually announce the album title? it had to be before or with the traclisting, right? can't wait. they've got us confused w/ Chester saying the T____ & T_____, then in the LPA interview Phoenix totally obliterated that idea. so i can't wait! they've got this album hyped up, at least for big big fans like ourselves

Oh...my...god. This is awesome! Wouldn't it be funny if the first single was QWERTY. I know that's not going to happen, but that'd be a bit anticlimactic

With LP constantly touting their 'remarkably different sound' I do not believe they'd release a song thats very reminiscent of the way they used to be (i.e. Qwerty). It just wouldn't make them look good. Do not be surprised if the first single doesn't feature Mike AT ALL.

This is kind of off-topic, but is anybody else somewhat paranoid that after this album, we're gonna have to wait a helluva long time again? I'm expecting a four-five year wait after this album launches, for their next one.
