    Billie Joe Armstrong Solo Song Released

    Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong has released a new solo track.

    The frontman sings on the song 'Mechanical Man' which features on the animated puppet movie produced by Rancid's Tim Armstrong - 'Live Freaky Die Freaky'.

    The track has already been posted on Green Day fansites for download.

    'Live Freaky Die Freaky' features Armstrong as the voice of Charles Manson, as well as contributions from fellow bandmates Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, Travis Barker, Davey Havok and Good Charlotte's Benji and Joel Madden.

    Green Day is actually decent to me because they dont sound like any of those other emo bands.
