WOW! That is an amazing lineup. The only bands that I care about on there are The Prodigy and In Flames to some extent. I haven't heard Placebo though. It's absolutely nothing compared to Coachella or Bonaroo, though. Unless there's more to come.
I really want to go this year. ran it past my mum as a birhday present ( my birthday is the monday after). she said they'd think about it. would be ace if i could. that'd be seeing trivium twice (most likely 3 times if they come back in september again ) in one year. plus my mate went a few years ago. from what he said and what i've seen on TV... I NEED to go
Sounds pretty cool besides Guns N Roses *readies self for flaming* No doubt i won't be going but hey, i'll catch some of it on TV or something.
That's not the final lineup at all There are usualy like 40 bands that participate in Download. I'll more than likely be at this though.
That's what i was thinking. Bands like Slipknot and Cradel of Filth usualy do it, and Metallica have in years gone by (which, if they were this year i would definatly be there). Can't wait to see the full lineup though.
If Megadeth came back along with Deftones (it's plausible) I would be falling over myself to get a ticket.
I'm highly expecting bands like Metallica, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Green Day, Killswitch, Cradle Of Filth, Dragonforce, Sum 41, Angels And Airwaves and several other high profile bands to be there. It'll be like an updated Download 2004 which was the best one although would have been better if Limp Bizkit didn't pull out. EDIT: Also Download wouldn't be Download without Slipknot.
Argh. I just looked around, and tickets (inlcuding booking fees, and P&P (this is for Donnington, both days camping) is like.. £152.20... Time to start saving i think
True enough, HIM suck live, but apparently at last years download they did a pretty good performance.
You're lucky I dunno where you live otherwise I would be slapping you with a trout right now The only thing that made Download crap last year was the Feeder headlined one of the dates. Feeder. Of all fucking rock bands on the planet they chose Feeder... And Joe you can't really say its gonna be a disapointment because only a few bands have been confirmed so far and theres still like 30 or 40 more to be announced.
I guess, but what's been announced so far isn't really my thing at all. I'd probably only see Korn out of the confirmed acts, and I'm not really that bothered about seeing them in a festival environment.
