I don't actualy think some of these are the final costumes, I'm still hoping for a Shaolin Monks style Reptile.
Yeah, I doubt they have finalized all of the costumes for Armageddon as of yet, I'm sure some of these renders are from the previous games. Another character I'm interested in learning about is Sheeva, it's good to see her return to the series.
The last Mortal Kombat game I played was on the Sega Genesis. I might buy this. If not, I'll rent it.
All the recent one's to me looked pretty good. This one looks twice as good though. I remember back in the day on Sega Genesis, when I used to play Mortal Combat 3 all the time.
You do realize that Shaolin Monks took place between MK1 and MK2, right? Reptile evolved around MK: DA, I believe it was. So yeah, since Shaolin Monks takes place wayyy before MK: Armageddon does I'm finding it highly unlikely Reptile will return to his human form. I wouldn't be surprised if these were the finals give or take a few elements because I remember in the past, models would be shown and there was speculation they were temporary and ended up being the final designs. But we can still hope they get a bit more creative...! And I agree with you, Raj, playing as Sheeva will be awesome... Teleport stomp!
Exactly. I wonder if she'll still have that annoyingly funny screeching voice, that was a classic when you did a pit fatality, she was still moaning ten seconds after hitting the spikes.

I hope that these aren't final designs. It doesn't make sense, seeing that Sub-Zero is back in his Lin Kuei garb and not in the outfit that he had in Deception.
@LostWound: Yeah, I realized that after I made my post. @Minus: True, it doesn't make sense, but then again if these are still concept designs... Why didn't Midway just use the previous model from Deception instead of using an "older" version? Perhaps they're just messing with us...
That isn't a good thing To be honest I thought Deadly Alliance and Deception were quite crap. The new charecters were all shit in both of them.
