Okay, so last Monday I went to see Fort Minor in London & I thought I'd let you know how it was. I went by myself because nobody else would go with me. I arrived in London at 12:00pm and began my wait outside the Mean Fiddler. I was by myself until 2:00pm when another guy shown up, by about 5-6pm there was only about 8 of us in the line which was odd as usually the line stretches for miles at this point. At about 5:30pm Mike came out to say hi to the fans. I had a quick word with him and took a few photographs, I also got him to sign on of my Believe Me singles, it was awesome. He had to rush off to TRL at this point, even though he didn't want to go at all as he told us, haha. Anyway, the doors opened at 7:00pm and I was the first guy in, I had to go a separate way from the stage as I was going to the Meet & Greet. After waiting for about an hour, Tak, Ryu, Cheapshot & Mike all took a seat. I walked up, Mike was first. He first signed my photograph & passed it down the line as the rest signed, I then handed him my Believe Me single as I made nervous chat about how much I was looking forward to the show. I also slipped in about how I'm a dedicated member of the LPA, then instead of passing it onto Tak to sign, he wrote "Lpassociation.com" smack bang in the middle of the cover, and then signed his name in one of the four corners and passed it on. We shook hands and I moved onto Tak, Cheapshot & Ryu. Tak, Cheapshot & Ryu were great people and seemed more interested to meet the fans than Mike did. think this was because they weren't used to the whole Meet & Greet process, whereas Mike knew he had to get through over a hundred people. I shook all of there hands and made some talk and then I left. The gig itself was awesome & better than I expected. I was on the third row back because everybody had gotten to the front whilst I was at the M&G (grr). The support was a UK rapper known as Sway. Fort Minor came on & opened with Remember The Name, It's Goin' Down & Dolla. The then played the rest in no order; High Road, Red To Black, Numb / Encore, In The End, In Stereo, Mr. Brown, Believe Me, There They Go & others I'm possibly forgetting. They closed with Petrified. Highlights; Meeting Mike outside, The M&G & The awesome people I met. Lowlights; All the twats turning up in LP gear, half of the crowd not even knowing the other members of Fort Minor, Half of the crowd not even knowing about the mixtape, not getting to the front because of the M&G & not knowing any tracks from The Rising Tied because it hadn't leaked yet. Best Songs; In Stereo, It's Goin' Down, Petrified, Dolla, Believe Me & There They Go. Conclusion; It was an awsome night despite some twatnicks turning up in Linkin Park clothing & not knowing fuck all about Fort Minor. Before they played In The End though Mike said that he's noticed people wearing LP shirts, but he's seen more FM shirts which is great & that he'll sign them after show. Ideally enough, he stayed behind and signed shit for everyone. Here are some pics, sorry about the quality on some of them. I left the camera at a friends house which means I've had to use my webcam to take the pics of the signed stuff. This is why this post is so late too, he's had my pics all week. Anyway, here you go. Oooh, thanks man. I've been looking for this. I'll try & upload some of the videos I took from the show soon, if anybody is interested.
And to think, I still have an unused spare ticket because nobody wanted to go with me. I'll try & get the videos up by tonight.
Take a picture top down of the single with the LPassociation thing, with your digital please. I want a good quality pic of the signature . P.S. Did mike seem to already know about LPA when you told him? I'm just curious.
Will do. The camera is still at my friends house, so I'll have it up by Monday. Yeah, I said "I don't know if you've heared of a website called The LPA, The Linkin Park Association, but I'm a dedicated member over there & you should check it out". He smiled & wrote "LPAssociation.com" across the front. I didn't tell him the site address, so he must have known.
You bastard! I would have gone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh wait I was in Weymouth freezing to fucking death Ah well I've met Pheonix
