I was looking at my brother's copy of this week's Kerrang! magazine, and I came across an advert for the Carling weekender festival, which takes place in Reading and Leeds in England. I noticed that an act called Fort Minor are scheduled for the Dance Arena... can anyone confirm if this is Mike Shinoda?
they are coming to holland , and beglium also so I guess if the are in europe there is a great chance they would go to england
I can't find anything other than them being confirmed for Pukkelpop, and I probably won't be able to get a scan until tomorrow, or later tonight at the earliest. But I assure you, it's an official advertisment and it's a new stage, so it's a possibility that most sites don't have anything up right now. I will try to get it scanned, though.
Download Festival happened a few weeks back in Donnington & Leeds. Unless it's for next year. but they don't normally advertise this early on.
omg iam going to leeds! i really hope it is them! this is unoffical but it says he his: http://www.reading-festival.org.uk/lineup.asp
Oooooh yeah, ofcourse it is. Sorry, i got confused. Shit, if it is them... i'm going. [/b][/quote] i think it is - however its sold out now. check that link i posted a second ago! ^^^
I think this is ready to be posted as news, i believe it & there's a source now to. Even if it is speculation, it's still news worthy IMO.
The only thing is, even though the festival organisers seem to have confirmed that Fort Minor will be there, there is nothing to be found on the matter on the official FM site or even Fortminor.co.uk.
i really hope they are performing - i was really looking forward to leeds already but this..... it will be crazy if FM are there
the only confirmed dates are at Pukkelpop, staged in Belgium. and FM is also playing at Lowlands, Holland. Pukkelpop - August 18th - 20th Lowlands - August 19th - 21st *Carling Weekend (Reading & Leeds)* - 26th - 28th it looks likely because they are in Europe so they might play the Carling Festivals. on the site i posted earlier it says that FM will play Reading on the 26th and then on the 27th they will play Leeds (Friday and Saturday) that means that FM will most likely over lap with some big bands such as The Killers, and The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.
