    You do realize that Sandra Day O'Connor was appointed by Ronald Reagan, a staunch Republican? And that she was born in Texas?

    It's not like if Bush did choose a heavily right-wing person that it'd be much of a change.

    EDIT: Oh yeah... I'm kind of surprised Renquist didn't retire. At the same time, though, I kind of didn't expect it because he loves the power.
