News we all love to hear: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will take advantage of the Revolution controller. Source
First good look at a Revolution game... "Red Steel" by Ubisoft's Paris team (Splinter Cell, Prince of Persia, etc): http://gameinformer.com/News/Story/200604/N06.0407.1251.24078.htm Magazine Scans: http://www.flickr.com/photos/elmoco/
I don't tihnk it's a horrible name, but the Revolution would ahve been better. Cause that is a name that has expectations. Maybe nintendo might not be able to meet expectations with that name in some consumers opinions but its a name that really makes a perosn want to paly the systme to see how good it is.
At first, I kind of thought that it was a corny stupid name, but now I'm having second thoughts over it. After seeing what the system is going to be capable of, and what features it will have. Backwards compatability, the "Virtual Console" to download and play classic games (they need WWF No Mercy on there), and the fact that its online. Add in the cheap ass price than the PS3 and 360, and kickass controller. I'm sold right now.
I don't understand why some people get so uptight about the name. So what? What did you think of names like "Ikea" or "Nokia" or anything else foreign you've heard before? I mean some people make it seem like a big deal. It's just a name. What you should be looking at is what it does. I'm also sold. Zelda and Super Smash Bros. FTW!
Here's a summary of the Wii http://www.gadgetspy.co.uk/2006/05/14/nintendo-wii-low-down I'm fucking sold on the Wii.
