All the symbols are cut in half...they must be giving some kind of hint towards their console?
I think the new ads are cool IMO...better than some stupid MTV party *coughXbox360cough*

Concept posters, I think. I heard that these posters were designed by someone at SCEA, but I think they were denied or something. Apparently if you zoom in you'll see concept by: [blah blah].
Obviously not offical because entertainment is spelt wrong.
Yeah, that PS3 symbol kinda does it.
I'm sure the Sony guys looked at those concept posters and thought...
"Hell, it's the same shit all over again!"
And decided to go in a different direction.
I'm taking a good guess that these concept posters came before the ad.Originally posted by Minus Xero@May 14 2005, 10:37 PM

That's what I said.
The concept posters were made, they were like, shit! It's the exact same thing as PS2!
And went with the ads we see now.

Exactly.
I'm glad they did change it. Otherwise it would of been boring.

http://ps3forums.com/viewtopic.php?p=696#696An SCEE insider speaking with C&VG claims that Sony's Dual Shock Pad for the PlayStation 3 will be wireless and feature a single trigger under the right hand side of the pad. These new features are a logical evolution for the Dual Shock to take, as every gamer knows the hassle of having to deal with cables everytime they wish to play a game. The trigger would be primarily used in First person Shooter games, but could also be used - for example - as a brake in driving games such as Gran Turismo.
The high placed source (who wishes to remain strickly anonmyus) further goes on to say "Other than [those changes] we've no plans to change the basic formula, which has proved so successful."
It is a commonly held feeling that the current controller for the PS2 is very effective and easy to use, and Sony are echoing this in their decision to keep the basic design the same.
well they would have to be to compete with Xbox 360. Although i hope the cord option is still there. I dont want to go buying more controllers.
xbox360 doesnt, I doubt PS3 will.Originally posted by Skywalker@May 14 2005, 11:01 PM

According to the US Patent Office, Sony made a patent to have PS3 Wi-Fi with PSP...

So basically the PS3 would send the PSP the signal without the PSP having to do anything except display the game and send signals back regarding the button pressing. Sounds sweet![]()

Now, I wonder if the PS3 will have Wi-Fi to connect to a router...
It's like a wireless version of the Gamecube-GBA connection a while back.
I can imagine some good uses for this.
