Ha, you work at FS? I used to work in the electronics department at Superstore...where we all got to play with a few PSPs two weeks before they came out Ah, the joys of working around technology
I won't be getting a 360 until Halo 3 hits shelves. That's most likely late 06. Hopefully the price will be down by then.
Apparently the 360 is having some problems already concerning overheating and then shutting down. I think I'll wait a little longer before getting one of these.
First generation releases of consoles are always riddled with problems (i.e: PS2 lasers, XBOX overheating). That's why it's unsafe to buy them off the shelves in the first few months. If you must, at least chip in $50 to have it insured.
Played it. Not that impressed with it. The graphics are good, I'll give them that. But the system itself is noisy, and the power supply is big enough to be used as a brick in my house.
Nah. That's what you call a typical video game system release. First release of Sony's PS2: Many DVD problems and the eye broke down quickly First release of Xbox: Reports of systems catching fire First release of the Sony PSP: Shooting of the UMD's and extremely fragile screens It happens all the time, it's expected.
What? The first shipment of XBOX 1 caught on fire? I can't even imagine that. That'd scare the shit out of me. It looks like they haven't fixed it either with the 360. Shame on them.
Microsoft wants Halo 3 to be released at the same time that the PlayStation 3 is released in North America. Do you plan on buying a PS3, too? That'd be a lot of money.
Far better than the original XBOX controller. But in terms of next-gen controllers, you can't even make a judgement as they aren't out yet. Although, I still like the PS2 and Gamecube controllers more.
I think the controllers for this system are one of the best made for any sstem. I think the playstation controllers are annoying I mean they use fricken shapes just stick to letters like everyone else uses.
Seeing how the 360 controllers aren't that different from the Xbox, it shouldn't take too long for me to get used to it. But yeah, I'll probably following in the shoes of many and buying the 360 after a few price drops/when I get the money/when Halo 3 is launched.
