That's just speculation. On IGN I read they plan to sell 2.75 - 3 million units in a year. Microsoft is losing $100 a system. Also, they shipped 300 000 units to Europe. Safe to say, Microsoft pulled off a world wide launch, but probably with alot of people pissed off.

its not painful to watch.. i dont care what gaming platform it was its still completely moronic and ignorant.. that donated money could have been put to practical use.. id enjoy the vid more if its of them giving the machine to some unfortunate kid... theres plenty out there
Does it really matter in the end? It's still the same four button system, and I mean, d'you really look at the letters or symbols when you play? And you argue that they should conform? If say, Nintendo conformed to the norm, we wouldn't have shoulder buttons, start/select, the four button combo, analog sticks, rumble packs, etc. Sony and X-Box basically have the same design.
Not to mention the concepts and ideas behind both systems are almost identical. They both want their systems to be the full out media centre of the living room, whereas Nintendo are looking to interest more people in gaming.
That were actually planning on shipping 3 million in the first 3 months, though due to problems with them not being able to make enough fast enough, they now want to ship 5 million by june time (they have/are opening another factory to help with production). Also i expect the revolution to hit sometime in late summer, the PS3 to be released about the same time in Japan then the holidays or early 07 for America then spring 07 Europe.
Wow, thanks for the reply exactly 1 month 25 days later. Alot has transpired in that time that has changed my opinion of the controllers not to mention the systems in all. But yah thanks for coming out. I do believe that is a necro post as well.

I played Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for regular Xbox and I enjoyed it. I also tried it in at a video game store in a mall for 360 and was impressed.
Yeah, also played for the Xbox but I got stuck in a level so I stopped playing it. But I got Ghost Recon 3 today. You can play from 2-4 players with a co-op, and thats fucking awesome
Was it the level where you have to fly the helicopter low through a bunch of hills and hope you don't get hit by a tracking missile for flying too high? I got stuck there and then returned it to Blockbuster.
Oh, that one was pretty easy Just pull the trigger for 50% or something and fly slow, but not too slow. I had a level where I had 8 minutes to destroy 2 nuclear missiles but it was too hard. Now I can dream that level
