I have an ISO image I want to burn but everytime I try to burn it nothin goes to the disc. It says everything goes okay, but nothing happens. The disc is not blank after I burn it, but says it has 0 bytes on it. Also, I tried with two different discs, but neither worked. Could it be that the image was copyrighted, because I have burned other iso's and never had a problem. It also comes with a mds file, but I don't know how do use it.

What program are you using to burn it. And if you feel like sharing, what are you burning exactly?

You need to burn the index file, usually a .cue (but might also be the .mds).

The .mds file is like a .cue file. Use 'Alcohol 120%' to burn the ISO with the .mds file.
