I know. But when Gmail was first introduced, everyone thought that it was a joke, since it debuted on April 1st 2004. Or am I wrong?

I like the picture they have describing their "infinity +1" plan.

It's on the Gmail Sign-in page.

i dont understand why people are so excited over a 2Gb inbox. Imean i dont know anyone that has even filled up atleast 5% of their original 1gb inbox. And some people are like OMG gmail is gonna upgrade to 2gb...when most probably they havent even used 5% of the 1gb.

I think people just like seeing 2GB instead 1Gb in their account. ;)

I cant even fill up 10% of the hotmail 250mb lol ;)

Some people have actually discovered a way to use gmail as a actual harddrive. So, I could see why some people would be excited.

yeh thats true....but, thats only if u have a superfast internet, ppl that have 56k and even low end broadband users 128k-256k (like me ;) ) its really a waste of time.

so yeh i guess it is usefull for people with like T1 connections.

And if you have 50 invites then u can keep inviting yourself and woah u just have yourself a 50Gb~100Gb online(!) Hard disk lol ;)
