Alright, after about a year and a half of fooling around on free hosts such as Tripod, 100webspace, FreeHTTP, etc, I've come to the conclusion to buy some web space. I've been searching for a while here, and the best deal for me (that I've found) seems to be SwiftHost. I was planning on getting the $4/month (or $40/year) plan called "Starter's Hosting". As for a domain name, I was originally planning to register it at GoDaddy. I then did a bit of searching and found APlus. They are $3 cheaper on the .com domain. So, what I've come in here to ask is: How do these companies look? Do they look trustworthy? Also, if anyone could give me the name and website of the host they use, it would be helpful. I'm looking for at least 500mb Space, 2-3gb Bandwidth, PHP, MYSQL, and a price of $5/month or less, and NO ADS. Thirdly, any advice/tips about the whole process of registering a domain/host would be helpful. Particularly the domain. Thanks Everyone. EDIT: Forgot to put "NO ADS".
