What program do you use to download mp3s?

I'm looking for one that won't slow my computer down like fuck, because a lot of people I know who use kazaa tell me that it slows their computer down a lot, and was a real pain in the ass, any recommendations?

 

Limewire is awesome and i';ve heard good reports on WinMX

Soulseek and Ares. And iTunes.

 

The KaZaA network is dead. Too many stupid 14 year olds trying to not share anything and leech everything. Ares is starting to die slowly as well. eXeem is good from what I've heard. Soulseek is all mp3s and it has some good stuff. Shareazaa is good, but it's problematic. Limewire, as you will soon see isn't all that great. The best place to get new mp3s is to download a ripped promo or single cd off IRC.

i have limewire, it runs fast you get great search results and it doesnt slow your pc down, the only problem is as Neil said, to many leachers not enough sharers limewire is one of the most active networks ATM.

but you can always use bit torrent, even though suprnova has gone there are still many good sites for torrents, you just gotta know where 2 find them *cough* googl *cough* :

WinMX is pretty good.

 

Bittornado, getting the torrent files from google. search for "filetype:torrent blah" without quotations and change blah to what you're looking for.

I was thinking of trying eXeem later.
