What's your favourite record label and why? I think that I'd say that mine is either Drive-Thru Records or Geffen Records. Drive-Thru because there are a lot of good bands that play the type of music I'm into and Geffen because they owned Drive-Thru for a while so bands I like a lot are/where on it, and bands like Papa Roach are on it aswell
Roadrunner. They have; Slipknot, chimaira, stonesour, ill nino and many more of my favourite bands....
Epic were great in the 90s, with Korn, Rage Against The Machine and Stone Temple Pilots, but by 2005 all three of those will no longer be signed to them. So I'll say Roadrunner. A few other good ones are Vagrant, Fat Wreck Chords and Geffen.
I'd easily have to say Wind-Up because every band i know about that is on this reord label i like. My next favorite label would probably ahve to be Arista or Island.
Tooth & Nail and Drive-Thru, simply because my favorite music that I like to listen to are on those two labels.
Century Media Records: [*]Arch Enemy [*]Blind Guardian [*]Borknagar [*]Children of Bodom [*]Dark Tranquility [*]Dimension Zero [*]Eyes on Fire [*]God Forbid [*]Heaven Shall Burn [*]Into Eternity [*]Krisiun [*]Lacuna Coil [*]Moonspell [*]Naglfar [*]Napalm Death [*]Old Man's Child [*]Shadows Fall [*]Strapping Young Lad Metal Blade Records: [*]Amon Amarth [*]Ancient [*]As I Lay Dying [*]The Black Dahlia Murder [*]Callenish Circle [*]Lamb of God [*]Unearth [*]Vader [*]Vomitory Much respect.
I'd have to say Wind-Up Alter Bridge 12 Stones Seether Submersed Atomship Drowning Pool Evanescence Edgewater Creed I have alot of respect for Wind-Up, they treat thier bands like people rather than buisness. When Dave (ex-singer of Drowning Pool) passed away, Wind-Up financially funded his family to buy a new house and take care of them in any way they needed, just because Dave promised his family he would look after them and obviously couldn't when he passed. That's just respect.
Hellcat Records: US Bombs The Horrorpops Tiger Army Lars & the Bastards The Distillers (first two albums, anway) Dropkick Murphys Lookout Records: Operation Ivy Pretty Girls Make Graves Common Rider Green Day (first two) The Eyeliners Avail That's all I can think of...I tend to not like more then a couple bands on each label.
As a whole, all record labels have there bad eggs. But if it came down to it: Capitol Records. cmon people. The Beatles Radiohead Pink Floyd
I'm not an über record freak, but here goes: Wind-Up Drive Thru Roadrunner Warner Bros Geffen Inside Out Music For Nations
Wow, I was about to make the same topic . My favourite would have to be Roadrunner. But I'd have to disagree with you, I think Wind-Up is a bad record label.
About Wind-Up, didn't they force Evanescence to do things that they didn't want to do? (this isnt just directed at Linkinescence but, im asking everyone)

well.. but, i dunno why they have the hellcat logo on there. id say hellcat too and a-f records because of pipedown
