Man that's the first time I've heard Cha-La Head-Cha-La in YEARS. I got tingles down my spine from memories alone.
I'm looking forward to the new movie. It's going to be awesome. The animation looked incredible. My favorite character, for what it's worth, was always "Future" Trunks. He was such a bad ass compared to boring old regular old normal old lame old Trunks.
I mean, I guess that's true. But still, present-day Trunks is lame. Also, a gripe I've got with the anime (and most anime, I suppose) is when they get older people to voice kids and they end up sounding completely stupid, like Goku from Dragon Ball (who was also Gohan as a kid) and the chick who voices Trunks. They just sound so stupid. No kid sounds like that. Ever.
Oh man, that animation is awesome. I forgot just how good DBZ looked. Favorite character is actually Majin Buu. Any incarnation of him.
Seeing GT Goku in that teaser turned me off (don't think it's part of the movie, please enlighten me as I haven't even watched GT because I never got into it), but from 00:34 onwards that's so awesome. Only wish that shit could be dubbed the way I grew up on it with (latino spanish, original cast), but that's highly unlikely since most of the original cast were replaced in DBZ Kai with lame ass voice actors so.. Still looking forward to it.
It isn't GT Goku. From what I can discern, the teaser is making mention that it will have been 17 years since Toei has released an official Dragonball-related theatrical (?) film. The recent Super Saiyan Bardock (2011/2012), JUMP; Goku & Friends Return (2009), and JUMP FESTA; Plan to Eradicate The Saiyans re-animated (2011/2012) do not count as 'films', but fall into the anime festival exclusives category. ^ Saikyō e no Michi - Dragonball: Path to Power (1996)

I'm going to laugh if they're just trolling us and it's a rerelease of Dead Joene. But on a serious note, though, pussy.
They should just reboot the entire series. I mean, it's kind of needed. GT sucked, DBZ went off the deep end by not following through with Gohan staying the main character.
An update: As reported by Crunchyroll earlier this morning, Toei Animation has been granted 50 million yen (~$636,000) as part of the non-profit organization UNIJAPAN’s “Co-production Certification Program” to help fund the upcoming Dragon Ball Z movie due out in Japan on 30 March 2013. The program was developed by the Japanese government’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI), and other affiliated organizations, to support the international endeavors of Japanese filmmakers. Of the four films awarded funding support, the 2013 Dragon Ball Z movie was the only animated film to receive such an honor due to its “enduring international popularity” and its production collaboration with the U.S. company Fox. So, is it time to start thinking about international releases now? Who says Dragonball Z wouldn't look aesthetically awesome in live action?
