    Dick Clark, a legend in every sense of the word, has passed away today. He was 82.

    May he (finally) rest in peace.

    NYE is going to be very strange for me this year. I think, like everyone else, I've been watching him since I was a child.

    My fondest memories of him actually were the old American Bandstand episodes that they used to rerun when I was a kid. That to me is Dick Clark, and it's incredible how many careers he helped launch. He will be greatly missed. R.I.P.
