Hmmm, lets see. I joined in 2006 or 2007. I'm not completly sure which one, lol. I do know that the last time I was on here it was in 2007. Just about two years ago. Wow, what a long time. I don't exactly know how I found LPA, but I remember being soooo obessed with LP's music that I was looking them up every chance I got. Whether it was listening to their music, talking about it, looking up tour dates and all that great stuff. Man, I was hooked lol. I'm guessing that's why I joined LPA.

I think it was either a derivative of my current username or something involving "starwarsfreak." All I remember is I joined in '07 just before MtM was released and I was one of those heavily scrutinizing and analyzing the clips that were coming out in order to get some idea of what this "new sound" business was all about. I also remember drifting out of the community shortly after the album came out, as I was really disappointed with it (at the time, anyway).

I found this from searching for fansites through the *shudder* Meteora days. At that time, I was an entirely-too-enthusiastic web programmer trying to start an LP fansite. Unfortunately, I hadn't gotten into graphic design at the time, so while my code was great for the period, it didn't look that great.

If I remember correctly, I saw the LPA, gave up and registered on the forums. From there, I think I lurked quite a bit until one day I started posting. Very slowly. The Monthly Mix-Up has gotten me more involved in the forums. I love creating, sharing, discovering, and critiquing music. And I love Linkin Park. The Monthly Mix-Ups are a great way to be involved in all of these activities.

I found this site while searching for the lyrics of an obscure Linkin Park song. I was semi-active in LPMB at that time (Collision Course era). I could tolerate the annoying posters in the old LPMB, but its their new layout that irked me.

when i heard Lp for the 1st time i like them a lot and later it became my fav band.i wanted 2 know more about the band and here in india there r millions of LP fans but no one is so interested in finding out more abou there fav band.......... but i did. i searched on the net for LP and by mistake assumed LPA as the official site.i like the site for its regular updates and LP news and all the info about LP i cud get.since then im view this site for all the lp news.ive seen other LP fan site but this is the best of all.but this is is not just a fansite.....its much more than that.
