What kind of CD player do you have...?
... Heres mine
http://img15.photobucket.com/albums/v45/Emotionl3ss/My_CD_Player.gif
This is my RioVolt Sp100 MP3/WMA/CD player. It plays rewritable cd's filled with MP3/WMA files and regular CD's also. People say it's too big to be a good mp3 player. It fits in all of my pockets and holds over 10x as many files as most smaller mp3 players hold. It all depends on the storage capacity of the disc you're burning the mp3's on to.

Mine's so old and shitty... I have tape over the batteries to keep them from coming out, and I have to press the 'play' button multiple times to get it to work sometimes. That's why I just bought an MP3 player... it's easier that way. :P

Mine's a Sony. Radio Tuner, Shock Proof. I have kind of expensive headphones with the long cord.
I might take a pic of my cd player later...
but i also have a small little mp3 player (which is a piece of crap) but i lost it in my house somewhere...lol

Ditto. I know where it is, but I should throw it out cause I don't use it anymore. I took the batteries out and I dunno if it works.
@Lorn: I knew someone who had one like that, and they took and ripped it apart at school.

Lorn has the best CD Player on the LPA, hands down.
My CD Player is a Sony ATRAC3plus/MP3 CD Player, and it lasts about 77 hours on atrac3plus/MP3 CD's, and about 48 hours on a regular CD.

HAHA i'll post a pic of my CD player...it's pitiful
It's from about 3rd grade, has been dropped about 25 times, needs not only one rubber band to hold it together, but TWO, I still have to manually press Anti Shock for it not to skip every two seconds, the hold button fell out, and notice the headphones are already taped on the sides.
It's going to hopefully be retired when I get a new one for my birthday (my mom said I was getting one...I'm praying she's right)
I have a sony CD player along with 4 other ones that are broke and im preety sure this one is gonna break soon also. Its so bad and crappy that when i put new fresh duracell batteries in it they were out in 1 hour :wth: I might just get a MP3 player soon.

If you have the atrac3plus burner program working, then they are one of the best out there right now. I pretty much have my entire music collection (about 30 CDs) on one disc.

I have a Sony D-FJ401 CD Walkman. It's got G-Protection (whatever that means), plays the radio as well as CD-R/RW. The thing's a bit heavy but the design is really cool. :)
I have a Philips Jogproof with ESP (I'm not sure what that means) that's ####### broken!
ESP = something like "Electronic Shock Proof"
It just means the sound doesn't get fuzzy or whatever when you jog it, hence perfect for jogging.

Portable MiniDisc Recorder from Sony.
It's square, it's small, it's perfect, it's been dropped way too many times so it's hard to change track

Goin' Back Old School Style (http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/hmartin89/CDplayer2.jpg)
I've been using that lately because I need to get an extension cord for my stereo. It's fricken older than me!
My Headphones (http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/hmartin89/headphones.jpg)
Now, compared to all of your Discmans mine is worthless! It's pretty old! I got it about 5 years back or so.
Discman (http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/hmartin89/CDplayer3.jpg)
Doesn't look to bad, yet....
It's complete with
Duct tape! (http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/hmartin89/cdplayer4.jpg)
Cuz without it.....
The center pops out! (http://img34.photobucket.com/albums/v102/hmartin89/cdplayer5.jpg)
and when I have it in my sweater pocket on the way to school the center kind of wiggles off the lil pole it's sitting on and then either my discman wont be able to read the CD so then it stops, or it's having a hard time reading it so it either skips or the batteries die. So duct tape was the best solution...

Same here. For a while I had an old Panasonic, but then I got a new RCA mp3/WMA/CD-R/RW player for Christmas and gave the old one to my sister. A year later the RCA broke, the Panasonic now six years old and still functioning perfectly, so I just bought the Sony Atrac-thing. I like it. I also got a new pair of headphones, they're Aiwa stereo phones that block out other sounds, really nice. All of them are the walkman things, I just have a set of speakers in my room that I hook up whenever I don't feel like using my headphones.
I have to invest in a small but decent shelf system before I go to college next fall. Any suggestions?
