In the booklet of HT, it says that all the members are background vocals. What songs are they background vocals for? Is it just live or in the albums?

They don't actually do any vocals. I don't know why they have that in there.

I also saw that some time ago. And I think I know why they put that in...I think in "With You" and "Forgotten" are "background vocals". Like "uuuuuuuu" or "oooooooo". Donīt know how to discripe in english. But you have to listen exatly. Maybe Iīm wrong...donīt know. Thatīs the only thing what I can relate to.

It's Chester, not the rest of the band.

Ok, maybe itīs Chester...i just thought so because during the moment he is also singing a part but it seems they just put it over the normal vocals...ok.

That's weird. I'm scared now.
Well, sometimes they sing along during live shows (mostly Brad.)

Yeah, now that you think about it, there are only 2 or 3 times on the CD when only chester or mike arent the only ones singing/rapping

The rest of the band does not do any back up vocals. It's all Chester and Mike with vocal layering.

agreed. even though the booklets says otherwise - it is only mike and chester.
the booklet isnt always right, if you look closely there are a few lyrical changes

Brad and maybe the rest of the guys sing aloud but they aren't microphoned. They just sing cause they're into the songs.
Maybe they had it planned out on HT that they were gonna have background vocals but they never did.

I know Phoenix did backups when he was in The Snax, but I've never seen or heard him or any of the LP members besides Mike and Chester sing. Although Phoenix did have a mic in front of him in the Its Goin Down vid :D

well i have, which is why i say that. ^_^
he even raps a little bit in the bonus track from Run Joseph Run!
The only possible thing I can think of is samples. Maybe Joe has some samples of the other guys talking. Like High Voltage (remix). That was slated for a Hybrid Theory release originally. I'm thinking that the phone call was Phoenix or Brad. Also, just some of the samples Joe used for scratching may have had vocals in them. Who knows.
