LINKIN PARK
Due Out March 2003

After releasing last years best selling album, the California new metal band decided not to radically alter its sound on its third release. "I'm sure we could do some crazy stuff right now, " says vocalist/co producer Mike Shinoda, who does promise a heavier mix. "But we like what we like." Three months of recording has yielded one offbeat moment: "Breaking The Habit," which features samples, live guitar, a ten piece orchestra, live piano and digital manipulation. "For the last five years, I've been wanting to write this song, " Shinoda says. "It's not something people wil hear on the radio, but its important to us."

Wow, I'm so very happy right now. :D That's freaking awesome.. live guitar and 10-piece orchestra?! That would sounds absolutely fantastic. Can't wait. ^_^

that is some pretty kickass news.

but i'm confused, "breaking the habit" is the name of a song on the new album? and is the new album self-titled? i'm confused about the album name because it says "LINKIN PARK, Due Out march 2003"

No thier album is still untitled as of yet.

And yes "Breaking The Habit" is a new song name on the new album ;).

kewl!!!!!!! i cant wait for it to come out!!! but that is ages away!!!!!!!! make it come out now lol. that is kewl!!!! i think it wil be just as good as hybrid theory... maybe even better!!

Probably better. LP's poured thier heart and soul into this album, because they want to make it really good.

Can't wait to hear it...I mean...they said that it has patera-style stuff...Should be pretty cool...But why did it get pushed back again?! It was supposed to be February wasn't it?

Linkin Park told a contest winner(from lpfan.com i think) that the new album would probably come out the 2nd week of Febuary, but that was never official, they just guessed. The official time it will come out is now March. So we can defidently except it in March, unless something goes wrong, and it needs to be pushed back even more. But hopefully that wont happen.

wow its gonna have to be heaps and heaps good if it is gonna be better then hybrid theory.
