I'm a beginner at this stuff, but how does this banner look?

It looks pretty cool...good use of space...a lot of white space so that it doesn't kill your eyes...and it gets all the info in...nice one :)
thanks, i find it doesn't have to be a complete masterpiece of layers and whatnot. basic is sometimes good, and i think the colors blend fine.
anybody notice the lp symbol in the soldiers chest?

yup...at first I didn't like it (to be honest :unsure: ) but it does seem to fit in when I look at it now...

I think you could make the LP symbol on it's chest a bit smaller...so that it fits into the hole...but don't make it too small or else we won't be able to tell what it is :)
i think the lp symbol is good. it looks good the way it is but if u wanna change the size make it smaller. bigger would just look weird :P

what crawled up your ass and died?
i think it's a good size, it has to be able to fit in the network tab of the site so it might have to be minimized in size more. it's small because that's the size i wanted it to be, i don't want this huge ass banner where the pictures look horribly huge and disfigured.

If its going on the site, than it has to be that small. But it looked fine anyway, i mean you dont want a banner thats 800 pixel's wide or something.

you don't understand, will was venting anger towards me for something that happened before. he'd done a few abrupt things towards me and i was just asking why.
