one step closer - simpsons remix

i downloaded this simpsons remix of one step closer on winMX v3.31 i was wondering if anyone else has heard it and what do you think of it

its just one step closer with a hole bunch of simpsons quotes over the top

I think that's one of the dumbest remix I ever heard. That was back when doing stuff like that was cool and audio editors were hard to find...

When the author (editor if you will) Digital Imposter first released it about 2 years ago, it was cool. Now it's a piece of crap. There are way better remixes out there. The age of adding effects to a song and calling it a remix is over. Also the papercut hell remix was just papercut with a hallway echo overloop.

yes i totally agree it sux i thought maybe it would have homer singing the words but it was just quotes blocking out the sound of one step closer

May be the same one we're talking about, maybe not, but it's called "One Doh! Closer" all they do is take OSC and replace "step" with homer's "Doh!" each time. Really lame....

IMO, none of these types of things deserve to be called remixes. Anyone can find some program off the internet to add an annoying echo or loop a chorous 3 times instead of 2.

I got it too and then I burned it on a CD but I still got it on my pc. That is funny. Especially the ending. I like the little excerpts that home would be saying.
