Half Life Franchise

I thought this area needed a Half Life section so here it is :P


Any good gamer has played Half Life or at least heard of it. I was wondering who still plays games from this series and what your thoughts are on the delay of Half Life 2 from last September to sometime next year. You can post experiences w/Half Life, funny stories or anything related to Half Life,

CS is the best online game ever made :D I got 1.6 but I dont like it that much so I just stick with 1.5. Iam going to get Half Life 2 when it comes out but I havnt played HL 1, I heard it sucked major.

Half Life was AWESOME. I suggest you get it and play it.

I've never played Half-Life, but I played CS (not much) . I prefer realistic games such as CS or BF1942 to somewhat unreal games like HL....

HL2 was hacked. Someone stole the source code, published it on forums and released a beta version.
I doubt it's gonna be out in 2004, they're gonna change it as much as they can...

I've played HL once. I was stuck in the first level and gave up. :P I also played CS. Its pretty cool, but I suck at it. (I play good with controller. I'm not used to aiming with mouse)

Half-Life is one huggge level. If you played HL for 3 hours straight and made every right turn and move, you'd only be about 3/5 of the way through :chemist:
