MSN Messenger Help

i coudnt find anything on MSN's site so i came here to ask for members help, all my contacts are their email addresses, none of their personal names come up, its really buggin me, cuz i know people by their screennames, not their email

Did you delete them all and re-add them? Or have any of them been on? 'm not sure either, it's happened to me many times. And one time MSN deleted all my contacts, I had like 67 and could remember 5. :lol:
And sometimes people doesn't change there screen name, and just keep it as the default when they get a email. (which is their address)

hmm....well maybe for some freak reason they all just changed there name to there addy. umm...if you have a program like Grimbo Messenger or some stupid add-on/bot then sometimes it ####s up a wide variety of stuff on MSN....MSN isn&#39;t very stable...at all. :P

Something to do with your personal options. I don&#39;t have messenger here now (I&#39;m at school) but most likely you have something checked in your options. Go through any option menus you can find and look at each option. If you still can&#39;t get it. Add me and I&#39;ll help you w/it tomorrow night ;)

Yeah, I had the same problem..it has something to do with any add-on to MSN...get rid of that and verything should be ok..

i had msn PLUS, i uninstalled it but its the same

Here&#39;s what to do:

Click Contacts>Manage Contacts>View Contacts By>Display Name.

That&#39;s all you do, if that doesn&#39;t work, your simply S.O.L.(#### outta&#39; luck.)
