im new at the boards, but im waiting for your site. i think lpfan05 knows me from AIM ;). im reading topics in here for 2 months i think, now its time for the site :P .
btw: i'm 17 years old boy and live in germany, far away from you guys :D.
i'm working on the official german webpage www.linkin-park.de (you wont understand a word <_< :D ). lets have fun here :) .

Alex! don't scare them lol...I'm sure we'll be fine! (I...hope) In the case we'd have to delay it would probably only be a week tops. I doubt we'd push it into november.
There is one thing I must admit before the site opens however. We wont have mp3s or video when the site opens. There was a slight mess-up with the mp3 FTP and thus the mp3s/Video section will be "coming soon" rather then availible on opening. But I promise you guys won't be waiting soon! PLUS we will have 192kbps(Not crappy 128kbps) Xero and demo mp3s!!!!!! ;) Plus some Lpassociation exclusives ;)

I have the demos with bitrates of 320 kbps and samplerates of 48 khz. Mine are better. :lol:

no, i mean that everyone who really wants these leaked demos, already got them in 192 or higher. i didnt found the demos on a site and im not downloading stuff from robengel either...
i have different sources :D.
but if i could help you with some stuff, tell me. and if u get other demos that would be a very hard punch for me, who knows which ones will get leaked in future ;).
cant wait for the site :P :)

Your in Australia right?
Well, the counter I made is USA time, because thats where I live and I based it off of me. So your time will be a little different, but the site will be open at the same time no matter where you are

God guys lol..its not gonna open at 12AM USA time lmfao. Thats simply a counter till the 24th.
The real opening date and time is probably afternoon sometime tommorrow :)
Pictures are tagged, done and uploaded, some have been saved for future updates.
Lyrics are done.
And everything else can pretty much be finished and put up today. Pictures were the biggest hurdle, and now that they are finished, everything else is like a skip and a jump. :)
So yes, see you guys tommorrow. In a worst case scenario? Some of the sections will be "Coming Soon" when it opens tommorrow if they can't be finished, but it wouldnt be more then a few weeks before those coming soon's would be removed and replaced with content :D.
Well, except mp3s and videos. That might take a little longer, but we'd be sure to make it worth ur wait with the stuff we'll have ;).
Why the problem with mp3s and videos? Would you guys seriously want to be in a site that shut's down every hour due to, too much bandwidth consumption? No I dont think you would. So therefore, we're making sure that our mp3 FTP is not only big enough for a lot of mp3s..but capable of handling mass amounts of traffic. When we can be sure of that, we'll have many goodies for you guys to enjoy!

Actually, I'll work on the lyrics a little bit more until the site opens. They can be better. I won't promise anything though because I have to burn a few CDs for a friend.

Yeah we are going by alex's time...cuz he's the one who's in charge of "building" the site...So yes it will be open today...just prolly not till the late evening.

LPA.com is a cool site, and I'm not sure how much you promote, but you should get more people to the site. It would be like 400x times better if you had like 400 more people. Just a thought...
yeah, well we're asking everybody to do their parts by bumping threads on the LPMB and LPUMB along with telling friends and creating awareness.

it's a method of file up/downloading/or sever type that allows the staff to upload their LP mp3s onto the site...
