Are any of you a vocalist? If so what songs. Also it'd be cool if you had MP3's or something for us to hear. Me I am one, I do Amy Lee's vocals real good, but mostly I sing to guys parts (*and sound like them*) which creeps me out a little. :lol:

I sing like an alien......lol

I can sing certain songs.....singing is fun. I just sing all the time, sometimes i gets quite annoying but it's great.

I sound like a dork, rofl.

I sing Linkin Park songs in the Bathroom and sound just like Chester and Mike but thats because something about my bathroom. I also have some wavs of me singing little songs I made up or saying some words in a singing tone in my website. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the Url, so just check my profile and my site should bet here.

I think bathrooms are magical. They make you sound like a great singer. I like to shout with Chester, i'm fond of shouting :D

At my old school I was in a choir for 5 years, so yes I can sing. I loved every minute of it. It's too bad that the school that I am at right now doesn't have any choir nor drama classes. :argh:

Anyway, I always sing. I mainly sing songs out loud in front of people by Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera, and Whitney Houston because my voice can reach as high as theirs. I'm pretty good at it too. :)

You should hear me sing Linkin Park songs. It's funny. :lol:

I sing along to every band that I play as long as I know the words (except for Evanescence because that's damn near impossible).

I'm really good when I sing along to a few bands, like Adema, Breaking Benjamin, Finger Eleven, Taproot, Trust Company and 12 Stones. I can sound almost like the lead singers. And when I rap along with Mike (LP) I can match him pretty well.

Any other band I sing along to I can match sometimes but not other times, like Disturbed and Mudvayne to name a couple.

Edit:

There's lots of other bands where I can sing along and sound like the lead singer, but I can't be arsed to type them all.

I can't sing, my vocal chords were permanently damaged after I drank sulfuric acid back when I was 4. I can't talk.

</not serious>

I can sing along well to Cold, Finger Eleven, Linkin Park, Adema and Smile Empty Soul, Trust Company, Staind and others.

When it comes to my talents as a vocalist, it stops itself at a type of Fred Durst booming. I&#39;m not gonna screw anyone and say I can belt like Amy Lee or Chester, cause, I can&#39;t. But I can surely match wits with Mike and Will (hahaha).

I can sing but I&#39;m too shy to sing to other people so I don&#39;t know if I&#39;m good or not. I sing to any rock band I can listen to.

Thats the way I was at first, but now I can sing in front of people. I simply tell them : If you don&#39;t wanna hear me, go away&#33; If they stay. Your good.....or tollerable :lol:

Anyway, yes I can sing, pretty well, but as for Chester I give up lol. There are too many old people in my neighborhood to practice lol. But I like singing...its fun.

I sang with some friends in a group called "Gentlemen Distinction."

We were awesome...damn...I miss it so much. :(

I have 3 MP3s of us singing...anyone who wants them, IM me. I might post them here later. ;)

hmmm...well I have been told I can sing Lp very well, but then again I don&#39;t know, but thats what alot of ppl say they don&#39;t think there voice is good but it really is...

Yeah.....The problem I have with singing my lyrics, is I can&#39;t find a proper tune to them. But hopefully That&#39;ll be changing soo, because I&#39;ll be etting my guitar soon. So maybe I&#39;ll have MP3&#39;s to put up :D

well keep doing it and you will get better. Thats what I did, and people don&#39;t have to cover their ears anymore :P They use to tell me (jokingly) you know that sound that a cat make when you step on &#39;em. Thats what you sound like......now some of them actually ask me so sing songs sometimes :D It&#39;s encouraging&#33;

yeah....It&#39;s mean...I know what it&#39;s like. Just remember the more you practice singing, the better you will get. Thats all I thought when I&#39;d practice, and it&#39;s helpful. I&#39;m not saying I&#39;m perfect, but I know by experience :practice make perfect: (or good) :lol:

Chester actually inspired me to sing, so I sound a lot like him, i even went so aggresseive with it a few months ago that i lost my voice and couldnt sing up until a few weeks ago.

I think that LP helped inspire me, but I can&#39;t give them all the credit, but they are the majority. What happened to you voice?

LP didn&#39;t really inspire me persay, but they did help me with my songwriting skills. I did get many ideas from their music. It also made me realize girls don&#39;t sound as good when they scream out lyrics :*(

I still remember, last year I was with my band and we wanted to play OSC for the schools talent show, and i originally was going to play guitar until we listened to OSC and our drummer (who started the band) noticed that I sounded like Chester. He had everyone stay quiet and me sing alone (which i dread) and had me sing it. When the song was over, everyone was quiet and the only thing the drummer Pete said was "We have a singer. Thats it." It was one of those you-had-to-be-there moments.

I... Can rap... Ironicly I dislike rap... How weird.

My singing depends on my adrennaline at the time. When I&#39;m seriously psyched and my body is all crazy, my voice can become as heavy as Mudvayne, or Slipknot, and if I&#39;m just setteled, it&#39;s more like Punk, or Alternative... or just rap. Mostly it&#39;s just a &#39;rap&#39; voice because my voice can only take so much before it craps out on me :lol:.

I used to have an OK voice before I had my tonsils out (before I was told I sounded like Daria when I spoke, now I&#39;m told I sound like Courtney Love on an extreme heroin binge). Now I just sound horribly weak. Not really sure about what I can do about that (suggestions?). I would LOVE to start a band though, putting aside the fact that I can&#39;t sing or play an instrument... :(

I&#39;ve been singing since I was very small, and I&#39;ve played the lead part in two musicals and I was in the city choir for 4 years.... I also sing in 3 bands....And I&#39;m in voice. So I guess you could say I do? Hehehe. I love to sing, it&#39;s probably what I enjoy the most in my life right now because when I sing, it&#39;s like a natural high (woooaahh&#33; I know&#33; :P) and I can feel great, I don&#39;t worry and I have a major stress problem around school...And singing relieves it. I have a soprano voice but I can sing lower...I also scream lol. Haha, not like Chester because girls&#39; voice doing that just isn&#39;t that same..More like Amy Lee in Tourniquet (when she yelps I LONG TO DIIIEEE).... I don&#39;t know if I&#39;m good, I guess maybe I am because everybody I sing for (and I&#39;ll sing for anyone who will stop to listen....And the ones that don&#39;t :P) says I am and three different bands want me to sing vocals? Meh...I sound sort of exactly like Amy Lee but I&#39;m trying not to, because I want to have an original voice.

The only one who doesn&#39;t runaway when I&#39;m singin&#39; is my cat. But she stays cozz she too lazy and sleeps all the time... sometimes I kick her to make her get up, but there&#39;s no effect :rolleyes:

hahaha.. me sing?&#33; sing.. and sound like a crehzy nut.. then perhaps.. oh well.. overall singin is fun&#33;&#33;&#33; and singing along to songs that have a lot of screaming bits releases all that unwated tension that builds up inside.. so i say singing is like therapy.. ^_^

Yeah, she&#39;s got a great voice. I like her voice but I don&#39;t like her personality.

Thats kinda what happens to me, but when I block them out of my mind it&#39;s easier...but then I don&#39;t sing to the crowd.......
