yes it does

it is accessible through the site, it's nice. it'll open when the site opens, which should be in about 3 weeks.

Yes we have a great IRC chat room which will use the jIRC broswer interface so you wont need to download any chat programs.

I hope you will like it

Is that kinda like the LP chat...or does it use mIRC??? all this IRC stuff is giving me a headache...

The chat will use both external clients (e.g. mIRC, pIRCh, and dIRC) and internal client(s) (e.g. jIRC), so you can use anything you want. There will be a clickable link on the 'chat' page for people who'd rather use clients, and it's in the format of:

irc://server:port/channel

It's very simple. Those of you who don't want to use clients can just enter the chat simply and easily.

lol.....It's so everyone can be friendly and stuff I guess...and people don't see #### on every single page...seeing that isn't the nicest thing around....so with the filters up it stop people typing those words...ok it doesn't stop it...but it hides it...I dunno

adding on to what kat said.... would u like it if ur site had bad words on all the posts? i wouldnt it just makes ur forums look bad.

now that there is a 'chat room' this will effect the forums as people will discuss there oppinons in the 'chat room' instead of on the forums. The same thing happened on my site kinda thing. I had forums going really well everyone was usin them, then we all decided to go on irc one night and we've been on there ever since and the forums are now dead.

It may be different with this site.

Well on the night of the opening...no one but staff was really in chat. YES PEOPLE, there is a chat here! :lol:

the sad thing is, having under 200 members, and only about 25 who post regularly means not very many people will be in the chat to discuss such things. so the forums shouldn't die.

i wont let the forums die. i am going to post on them even if everyone else stops. i will post messages to myself. it will not die when EvilAmy is here :D

To promote a friendly, helpful community, one needs to keep bad words and other derogatory statements at a minimum. If you've ever been anywhere where every second word is "f!@#", then you'll know what I'm talking about.

i am gonna make all my friends sign up here. 2 of them already want to coz i told them bout the site but one of them doesnt have the net BUT she is getting in soon so it will be all good. and i just told a guy on msn bout the site. i think he will sign up coz he is a big lp fan :D

does anybody ever go to the chat because whenever i go there nobody's ever in it except for one time when one other person was in it

I usually only visit when somebody asks me to join...although we're thinking about formulating special Chat sessions...
