The Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th series really relaunched the idea of horror movie villains as icons. By the way, this is Nightmare on Elm Street part 8 and Friday the 13th part 11. Place your bets on who will win because this is the battle of the year! I go with Jason. I can't wait!!!!!!! This movie looks like a very successful sequel of Nightmare on Elm Street/Friday the 13th.

The plot - stupid.
The gory/action - pretty good, lots of gory.
The acting - barf.

I&#39;d give this movie like a 6.5/10. It was pretty boring until towards the end when it finally started having long action sequences. They go all out with the bloodyness. I didn&#39;t really like it - it was bleh; not scary.

Was it scary with jumpy scenes?

There&#39;s this thing which has stuck with me since I was a little kid, i have one of those overactive imaginations where I actually visualize scary things and I can&#39;t sleep, lol. So was it suspenseful or jumpy?

The nightmare scenes weren&#39;t scary to be honest - there were some jumpy scenes, nothing big; it was more of a gorefest, really.

I finally saw it today. Similar to Jonny, I didn&#39;t think it was scary at all and the plot wasn&#39;t the greatest. The gory-ness was strange. I really did not like how the blood would squirt out of someone&#39;s stomach or arm or something. But I did enjoy the movie, especially when Freddy and Jason would go at each other. Like I had predicted before the movie, it was funny also. I would give it either a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Well, there are some rumors of a sequel but it&#39;s not likely happening.

I told you guys that this is the last Freddy movie. I was wrong. There&#39;s a rumor that there&#39;s going to be a prequel to all the Nightmare on Elm Street movies.
